Continuing Education
Make the most of your CHI experience by earning continuing education (CE) credits! By attending designated educational sessions, eligible participants can earn credits toward licensure, certification, or professional development in multiple disciplines.
How to Find CE-Eligible Sessions:
Credit Types Available:Participants may earn:
- Up to 16.2 CPE (NASBA Sponsoring Organization -- Accounting/Finance)
- Up to 13.25 CME (AAFP Prescribed Credits -- Physicians)
- Up to 5 CE (NASW Approved -- Social Work)
- Up to 13.75 ACHE Qualifying Education Credit Hours (American College of Healthcare Executives -- Healthcare Administrators & Executives)
- Up to 13.75 General non-accredited CEUs for other health professionals (e.g., nurses, PAs, public health, CHWs, board members, legal, etc.)
Please note:
- Only full-paying participants and daily registrants are eligible for CE credits.
- General sessions are not eligible for continuing education.
- To be eligible for credit, participants must attend the entire duration of each education session—from start to end time. Because some sessions on Tuesday overlap, participants can earn credit for a maximum of 3 sessions that day. The total maximum credit available on Tuesday is 3.75 CME/ACHE credits and 4.2 CPE credits.
How to Claim CE Credits:To receive credit or a Certificate of Participation, all attendees must:
- Scan your conference badge with NACHC staff at the beginning of each eligible session.
- Complete the session evaluation via the NACHC Mobile App.
- Select your credit type when prompted.
- Print your certificate directly from the app. Certificates will remain available through August 2026. Session evaluations must be completed within 90 days of the conference.
Badge Scanning:
- Scan your badge with a NACHC staff member upon entry to each designated session.
- Scanning is available 30 minutes before and up to 10 minutes after the session begins.
Earning CE Credit:
- Only sessions marked as CE-eligible on the agenda qualify.
- General Sessions do not offer CE credit.
- You must attend the full session (e.g., 50 of 60 minutes).
- Complete the session evaluation in the NACHC Mobile App or conference website after each session.
Missed Scan?
- Visit the NACHC Information Desk near registration or email eventlogistics@nachc.org with your:
- Name
- Registrant ID
- Session number
- Description of the issue
Certificates & Reporting:
- CE certificates will be available via the conference website and NACHC Mobile App.
- You are responsible for submitting your certificate to your licensing or membership body.
- NACHC will also report attendance to accrediting bodies as required. This submission does not replace the attendee’s responsibility to report earned credits individually, where applicable.
Time & Access Limits:
- Late arrivals (10+ minutes) may be denied credit, per accreditor rules.
Specific Accreditation Details:Accounting/Finance Professionals (CPE)The National Association of Community Health Centers, Inc. (NACHC) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website:
www.NASBARegistry.org (Sponsor #108392).

Physicians (CME)The AAFP has reviewed 2025 Community Health Conference (CHI) & EXPO and deemed it acceptable for up to 13.25 Live AAFP Prescribed credit(s). Term of Approval is from 07/17/2025 to 07/19/2025. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1. For all AAFP credit equivalencies and recognition, please see the AAFP Credit System

Healthcare Administrators & Executives (ACHE)By attending the 2025 CHI – Community Health Conference & Expo offered by National Association of Community Health Centers, participants may earn up to 13.75 ACHE Qualifying Education Hours toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation.
Social Workers (CE)This program is Approved by the National Association of Social Workers (Approval # 886419070-6950) for 5 continuing education contact hours.
Other Health Professionals (Non-Accredited CEUs)Participants may request a
Certificate of Participation, which can be submitted to state licensing boards. These are often accepted by:
- Nurses, PAs, health educators, DOs
- Public health professionals, CHWs, legal professionals
- CHC board members and other support staff
To receive a Certificate of Participation with a record of sessions attended, ensure your conference name badge is scanned by NACHC staff at the beginning of each session. Complete open Session Evaluations on the NACHC Mobile App and
select “CEU” when applying for credits to print your transcript.
Attendees are responsible for confirming credit eligibility with their own licensing bodies.
