Session Description: Health center bottom lines in 2025 are pressured by a variety of factors. In this environment, it is more important than ever to monitor and respond to drivers of the bottom line. This session will cover operational drivers beyond just provider productivity - tracking the impact of provider vacancies, cycle time, start times, scheduling success and vacancies/turnover considerations - often in a dashboard environment, cascading down from management/strategic goals. We will also evaluate the quality of monthly financial statements, including the impact of adjustments and reclassifications.
Learning Objectives:
Understand key drivers of operations and profitability impacting most health centers in 2025
Appreciate the hierarchy of operational metrics, from the highest to the lowest level, and observe how closer to real-time dashboards can lead to more immediate course corrections.
Evaluate the quality of their financial reporting, and determine potential improvements
