Session Description: Setting and approving CEO compensation is a key responsibility of health center boards. This session will guide board members through practices for establishing CEO compensation in alignment with requirements and industry standards. Participants will examine common challenges in setting fair and competitive compensation for CEOs, gain an understanding of the IRS and other regulatory requirements that govern CEO compensation and explore sample sources of comparable salary data. Emerging trends in CEO compensation packages will also be shared.
