Session Description: In a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, community health centers must move beyond reactive approaches to proactively shape their future. A dedicated strategy and innovation team serves as the engine for transformation—driving operational efficiency, digital adoption, and patient-centered care while navigating industry disruptions. NeighborHealth, the largest FQHC in Massachusetts, established an Internal Strategy Office (ISO) to lead organizational transformation guided by a five-year strategic plan. This plan serves as the organization’s north star, with annual business and budget planning ensuring incremental progress.
We will explore why every healthcare center needs a strategy and innovation function—and, more importantly, how to build one that delivers results. Through executive-level insights and best practices, this session will equip leaders to not only adapt to change but drive it—shaping the future of community health through bold, strategic action.
Learning Objectives:
Define the value proposition of an internal strategy office.
Structure and build a high-impact team.
