HOTEL & TRAVEL

Hyatt Regency Chicago (151 E Wacker Dr, Chicago, IL 60601 | (312) 562-1234), right in the heart of downtown.
Where should I stay? We’ve secured discounted rates at the Hyatt Regency Chicago (151 E Wacker Dr, Chicago, IL 60601) and the Swissotel Chicago (323 E Wacker Dr, Chicago, IL 60601). Visit our
hotel reservations page for options and to book your room.
How do I get to and from Hyatt Regency Chicago and the Swissotel (overflow hotel)? Use the walkway located on the lobby level to access meeting space in the Zurich Ballroom at the Swissotel. From the Grand Foyer (located in the East Tower), head toward American Kraft, make a left turn through the meeting space, and follow wayfinding signage as needed.
Once at the Swissotel, the Zurich Ballroom (Zurich A–G) is located on the Concourse Level. After exiting the walkway, pass the UPS store, make a right, and continue following wayfinding signage.
What’s the cut-off date for hotel reservations? NACHC’s negotiated room rates are available
until the hotel blocks sell out or the cut-off dates are reached — whichever comes first.
- Hyatt Regency Chicago cut-off date: July 22, 2025
- Swissôtel Chicago cut-off date: July 14, 2025
We strongly recommend booking early to secure your preferred hotel and rate.
There’s so much to explore in Chicago, and we hope you take some time to enjoy the city during your visit. Our group rates extend on both the front and back ends of the conference, so whether you plan to arrive early or stay a little longer, it’s an excellent opportunity to experience all that Chicago has to offer.
Do I need a REAL ID or special ID to fly to the conference? Beginning
May 7, 2025, all U.S. travelers will be required to present
a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or identification card, or another federally approved form of ID, to board a domestic flight.
A REAL ID is an upgraded version of your driver’s license with a star in the upper right corner. Visit DHS.gov to see if you’re REAL ID ready and plan ahead for your travel to Chicago.

ONSITE EXPERIENCE
What is the dress code? Business casual by day. For our
Retro Rewind evening event, channel your favorite‘60s vibe (optional — fun is encouraged, not mandatory).
We recommend bringing a light jacket or dressing in layers in the meeting rooms, as the temperature can fluctuate and might be cold.
What meals are provided, and how can I find details? Daily continental breakfast and coffee breaks will be offered. For exact details and timing, please refer to the conference app, which provides the most up-to-date meal information.
What evening activities are planned? Join fellow attendees and our fantastic exhibitors during this special opening reception for great conversations and new connections. Don’t miss our signature
Retro Rewind reception — a lively throwback party that’s all about connecting, celebrating, and having fun.
I brought my spouse, significant other, or partner to the conference. Can they attend with me? If your partner would like to attend the whole conference, they will need to complete a full registration. However, we do offer a special pass that you can purchase at on-site registration if you’d like your partner to join you for our
Retro Rewind conference reception.
ONSITE RESOURCES & SUPPORT
Is there a conference app? Yes. Download our
conference app to browse the agenda, network with fellow attendees, and get real-time updates. Please stop by our Mobile App Help desk (Grand Registration South Desk, East Tower, Ballroom Level) on-site for troubleshooting.
Is Wi-Fi available? Yes! Complimentary Wi-Fi will be provided in meeting spaces. Log-in details will be available on-site and in the conference app.
Will printed materials be provided for the sessions? The conference agenda, speaker info, session presentations, and handouts will all be available on the
conference app.
Please note: Printed handouts will not be provided on-site. Any updates to presentations will be posted in the app after the conference concludes. Will sessions offer continuing education (CE) credits? Yes! Look for the “CE” information within each session in the
Conference Schedule. To receive credits, you must have your conference name badge scanned by a room monitor at the end of each CE-eligible session you attend and complete the session evaluation on the NACHC Mobile App or
Conference Website under the Evaluations. Final details will be announced via the
CHI Conference website.
What are pre- and post-con events? These are optional events designed to add value or enhance your onsite experience. Most require an
additional fee in addition to your main registration. You can sign up for them in advance online or register on-site (as space allows). Please note that each of these events has
limited capacity, so early registration is recommended.
I have questions I’d like to ask in person. Is there any place I can go? We’d love to help! Please stop by the
NACHC Info Booth, located at the Grand Registration South Desk (East Tower, Ballroom Level). Our team will be available to answer your questions
during all registration hours.
Will a lactation room be available?
Our designated
Lactation Room will be in the
San Francisco Room, located on the ballroom level of the West Tower. You can pick up the access keycard from our onsite registration team at the registration counter in the
Grand Foyer (East Tower, Ballroom Level).
The San Francisco Room will be open during conference hours —
Saturday, August 16, 7:00 AM through Tuesday, August 19, 2:00 PM — with all-day access. It will have a mini fridge for storage and a comfortable seating area.
Additionally, the Hyatt has a
Nursing Room as part of its common spaces. It’s on the 2nd floor of the West Tower near the fitness room — this is a private room available to hotel guests.
ACCCESSILBITY
What accessibility services are available? NACHC is committed to providing an outstanding experience for all participants. We strive for full access to these events' activities based on an awareness of participants' needs and appropriate planning. Accessibility accommodation for mobility, hearing, vision, or other areas may be provided.
We encourage submitting requests through registration no later than four weeks before the event. While we will do our best to accommodate onsite requests, resources may be limited. A team member may reach out for additional questions.
Will translation or captioning be available? Yes! We’ll be offering
Wordly live translation and captioning during all general sessions, educational breakouts and solution spotlights.
Wordly delivers real-time translation and transcription into multiple languages, right on your own device.
Be sure to bring your earbuds or headphones so you can fully use this service.
What if I need a scooter or wheelchair during the conference? If you need to rent a mobility device, you can arrange it directly through
Scootaround, which offers scooter and wheelchair rentals in Chicago and will deliver straight to your hotel.
Visit
scootaround.com/en/chicago to book in advance.
SECURITY & SAFETY
Will there be security? Yes. Dedicated security staff will be on-site throughout the conference.
Do I need to wear my badge? Yes. Your badge must be worn at all times to access sessions, the Expo Hall, and evening events. No badge, no entry — it’s how we keep everyone safe.
For your security, please do not wear your badge outside the hotel or conference venue.
Can I bring my luggage into the meeting area? We kindly request that you refrain from bringing luggage into conference spaces. This is not only to prevent theft of unattended bags, but also because luggage can become a hazard in the event of an emergency evacuation. Please store your luggage with the hotel bell stand or keep it in your guest room. We appreciate your cooperation in helping ensure a safe environment for all attendees.
Will some sessions fill up? Possibly. While we’ve carefully planned room assignments and placed popular topics in larger spaces, some sessions may still reach capacity. If a room is full, attendees will be turned away in compliance with Fire Marshal regulations and asked to join another session that has available seating. We appreciate your understanding.
OTHER HELPFUL TOPICS
How can I network with other attendees? Networking is a key part of the CHI & EXPO experience. You’ll find plenty of opportunities to connect throughout the conference. You can also use the
conference app and
conference website (login and click on My Experience) to message other participants, set up meetings, and keep the conversation going throughout the week.
